“Sure thing Luna.” And with that, Simon cradled her hoof softly in his blacksmith hands and began carefully inspecting Luna’s right horseshoe. “Any particular color?” he asked. Luna whinnied and said, “moonstone, please.”

  • Simon was surprised by Luna's request for a moonstone horseshoe. He hammered the iron, then coated it with a shimmering powder, creating a magical glow. The horseshoe shone beautifully when fitted—a gift for a horse who asked for the impossible.

  • Mind you, it was pretty unusual for a horse to be asking for anything. He wiped his hands on a cloth. Luna was tapping the newly-shod hoof on the packed dirt. "Feel alright?" Simon asked. Luna gave what Simon took to be a neigh of approval. "It's lovely, thank you!" she said.

  • The cannon continued to blast in the radius of the group but never quite land. 'I think we best be off now, Luna.' Simon boarded Luna, an esteemed practicer of spells in the magical horse community. She levitated across the water with ease to reach land, escaping the enemy ship.

  • “WOOOOOO!!” Simon raised his arms in glee as they flew over the water towards a massive whirlpool shimmering with moonstone light. The sky on fire with explosions, mane whipping in the wind, she whispered “Daddy?” “Yes Luna?” “You think I can make it thru?” “I know you can baby.”
