Miya sat on the roof & slid a KitKat onto the hook. She dropped the line into the alley & waited. And waited. Then—a nibble! She pulled on her rod & reeled in her prey. The Angler was dangling from the line, thrashing about like a snared cougar. "You're mine, Angler!" Miya cried.
- "Where's Kyle... He's gutted by me... He's my boyfriend... He left me ... He gave me his cloak... He's my friend... He abused me... He's half-naked... He's tied... I'm going to save him, Angler" The gills were opening... closing... opening... closing

1 - The Angler spoke through its flapping gills while it was thrashing in Miya's angry arms, "You ask to save Kyle, yet you are the one who killed him. You naive human, you cannot handle my power. There is an entire unknown world that you are unaware of. You will never save Kyle."
1 - "Kyle was killed by you! I loved him! More than anyone and anything! I was going to tell him and then you killed him! I hate you I hate you I hate you!" She began crying and fell to her knees. "Kyle. . ."2
- “Miya? It's me! I'm right here!”Miya jumped up and embraced him. “Kyle please forgive me! I still love you! It was the angler that tricked me.” “It’s ok baby girl we’re gonna be ok, but we have to jump in the water now! No time to explain!” Then Kyle jumped in. Miya hesitated...1
