Esa mañana no fue como todas. Me desperto una pesadilla, solo quedaban las ultimas imágenes vividas de aquel calvario, las sabanas mojadas pegadas a mi espalda, las pulsaciones que exaltadas abrieron mis ojos de un tiron, y dirijieron mi mirada a la ventana.

Heavy rain rattled the window. Thunder rattled the house. I breathed a heavy sigh, still unnerved by the nightmare. 

What would my analyst say? I’m projecting my anxiety into my dreams. They’re reflecting something I’m afraid to confront while I’m awake.
