Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

He thought for a while, realising that the woman is exactly the same person in the photograph. So he decided to get up and go towards the woman.

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

The creature came forward towards Jerry and the woman, opened his gigantic mouth. A strong odour stormed immediately filled the space. Jerry and the woman started trembling and crying. But it didn't help. The creature took them in its mouth and swallowed them in no time.
