Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

He went up to the woman and asked, "Are you the woman in this photo?" She frowned as she sipped her cafe coffee. "No, I'm not." Jerry frowned. "But you look exactly like her!" The woman glared at him. "That's my evil twin."

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

"I am the woman in that photo!" hissed the creature, even though it looked nothing like the woman in the photo. The woman by Jerry sighed. "Looks like my evil twin is up to no good again." She then walked over to the creature and spilled her hot coffee on her. "AHHHHH!"
