Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

a perfect match. Looks like Jerry found his target, he enters the cafe with a wary glace at the woman.

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

A monster? what the hell is going on? Suddenly a hole appeared in the air next to the monster, sucking in into it. everything went quiet, no one spoke. Looks like were all going to ignore what happened. Sounds good to me! Jerry walks out the cafe.
