The old house was a museum. They lived on the top floor, and the lower floors had displays on fashion and ephemera that changed 3 times a year. they were currently working on an exhibition about winter wear, displayed on penguin shaped mannequins.

When winter came, the museum exhibit on penguin shaped mannequins was ready for all to see. The owners were elated to hear that with this exhibit they beat all previous sales records. Unfortunately, they were so successful someone decided to steal all their penguin mannequins.

It was a hunter in Nunavut who called it in - an island of glossy-eyed penguins floating on the water. Crudely bound and thatched, it brushed against blocks of primordial ice, dictated by the currents and winds. Upon its spine sat a garden chair throne; there, a figure basked.
