On Tuesday, Megan found herself looking at her self in the mirror without recognising herself?

For the first time in years, she looked happy. This was so uncharacteristic that she didn’t recognize her own face. Her eyes sparkled, her cheeks were rosy, she was smiling ear to ear. It’s amazing what one good kiss can do for a girl! There was one tiny problem, though.

She didn't feel happy. Something about the way she looked felt hollow and fake to herself. But not to others, they all complimented her once she walked about. "Finally, you found yourself," they smiled. She became more desperate to keep her happy face. She needed another kiss.

She walked into a Kohl's and told herself that the very next person she would meet would be the one she would kiss. "Friend or foe," she whispered, "my mouth needs the hot touch of another's lips." She looked up from her purse after counting her Kohl's Cash and bumped right into

her brother. Shock roiled through her, as he greeted her with surprise. She stood frozen, knowing this was not the person to kiss, but she had made a promise to herself. Voices in her head shouted “don’t be a wimp!” Sighing, she slammed her eyes shut and dove in.
