Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

He stood up apprehensively, slowly making his way over to her table and clearing his throat loudly.

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

"You must come with me, and your dreams will be fulfilled." The creature said, grabbing both of them by their shoulders and carrying them off into the unknown.
