The students stumbled out of the underground library like a horde of academic zombies.

They held their hands up to shield their eyes, as if they hadn’t seen direct sunlight in years. Their brains were swollen with knowledge but they were confused by the outside world. Then there was a shout and a crash.

They crept back into the shadow of the entrance, peering into the sunlight. A burly man came stumbling around the corner, cursing under his breath. He caught side of them, eyes widening. “Ay, you’re the fugitives they’re looking for!” He was shouting now. “Police! They’re here!”

They decided it was better to take their punishment than to keep running. "I'm so tired of running". But they were lucky enough to end up in a prison that taught vocational skills, they learned programming, got out and started what would end up a multi million startup.
