Night Owls

Jerry glanced down at the photograph in his hand, then back up again at the woman sitting alone at the back of the cafe.

Jerry finally went inside the cafe and went to go ask the woman “are you ok?”. The woman told Jerry, “yes, i’m ok”. From then on, Jerry left the cafe and went home to his house

All at once a blinding light coursed through the space. Jerry and the woman froze. And then a creature appeared, seemingly from the air itself.

As Jerry and the woman looked up, they saw a bright moon and stars and the creature that appeared from the air was fireflies. When they saw the moon and stars they went back inside and called it a night
